I always said that there was no way my proposal was going to be a surprise. On the way to Chetstone Mansion (I was told we were going to drop off mail for a friend) I was talking about how Ed would never be able to surprise me...there was no chance I wouldn't see it coming.
I was very wrong.
I will never forget when, walking into the living room, I realized what was happening. It was this amazing moment where I realized Ed and my friends had been lying to me all week. I couldn't believe they had all gone to so much trouble to make this day more than I ever imagined. And I couldn't believe I was completely oblivious.
