today was our first annual kids harvest party. we had no idea how many people would show up, but I had lots of games and activities planned. I had also coherced about 15 friends to come and help. while we did a lot of advertising, I think the large bounce house in the back yard was the key.
we had more than 70 people show up!

halley and carter came! they had my vote for best costume.
the bounce house was a huge hit.
balloon animals I can now make; dog, mouse, giraffe, flower, hat, sword and poodle. I had a few requests for dinosaurs and wolfs...
"bobbing for doughnuts" where the kids had to eat the doughnut without their hands before it fell to the ground. the powdered sugar kind were the most fun.
tyler worked all week on his Aladin costume. Quite impressive.
jen came to help, too!
